3.1 The Committee received a briefing on the Active Travel White Paper from government officials.

4.  Scrutiny Session with the Minister for Business, Enterprise, Technology and Science on Social Enterprises

4.1 The Chair welcomed Edwina Hart, Minister for Business, Enterprise, Technology and Science - Karyn Pittick, Head of Social Enterprise Unit, Welsh Government and Duncan Hamer, Head of Entrepreneurship and Sector Operations, Welsh Government. Members questioned the Minister and her officials on Social Enterprises.

 

Action Point:

 

During the meeting the Minister for Business, Enterprise, Technology and Science agreed to provide the Committee with the following information:

 

·         an update on the Communities investment fund and how it is working at the moment;

 

·         share the terms of reference with the Committee in relation to the delivery of Public Services, once established by the Commission.
